In partnership with The Vaughan Food Bank and the City of Vaughan's "My Vaughan Shines Winter Lights Celebrations", the CPR Holiday Train will be stopping in Vaughan on Tuesday December 2nd, 2008 at 8:45pm. The initiative of this celebration is to raise food, money and awareness for the Vaughan Food Bank.
The Holiday Train program began in 1999 and has been successful in raising $2.4 million and collecting 1.2 million lbs. of food. This year, with your support we hope to increase these amounts significantly.
The Holiday Train, decorated with thousands of coloured lights will arrive at the National Road Crossing by the old grain mill (Click link for map below).
At 8:45pm, after a brief introduction and presentation to the Vaughan Food Bank, a holiday show will commence featuring 5 time Grammy award winner, Johnny Ried and Country singer, Tracey Brown.
